Where'd The Music Go?

Not much music has been released recently, but here are the tracks worth your time. Enjoy. Oh by the way, the picture above is Khaled and Drake at the "Fed Up" video shoot. I thought it was a good picture to post. PEACE.

Whatever U Want - Consequence Feat. Kanye West, Common, Big Sean, & Kid Cudi ****(.5) 4.5/5 - The whole G.O.O.D music crew came out for this one. I think the song could have been better...but only by a little bit. Its a bunch of very GOOD artists (no pun intended) on the same track. You should download this.
Russian Roulette (Remix) - Joe Budden ***** 5/5 - Joe Budden goes in over Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" and addresses everything that he has been facing over the past couple of weeks (Tahiry and Fifty, People coming at his new girl, Fab, Etc.) He honestly KILLS this. I am a definite fan of this song.
Back To the Crib (Mastered) - Juelz Santana Feat. Chris Brown ***** 5/5 - You all already know how I feel about this track. I think its a certified hit. This is just the mastered, final version of the song.
So Sad - JW Feat. Young Jeezy & Plies **(.5) 2.5/5 - Here's the full version of this song. It was previously released without JW (who the fuck is that? Just Wondering...). I kind of like the hook...but thats about it.
You Ain't Know - Ace Hood **(.25) 2.25/5 - New mixtape track from Ace Hood. This is for you IZG. Sadly...it's just not that good. We all know the album will be crazy though.

Music That I Needed To Buy - Attention Deficit (Wale)

I mean, you had to see this one coming. The new kid on the block, whose just killing tracks left and right. I didn't like Wale at all at first, but over time he grew on me, and after hearing some of the songs from this album, it was a must buy. Please support this dude. He killed this album.

Music That I Needed To Buy - Transition (Ryan Leslie)

Ryan Leslie released this album in a VERY quiet fashion. Their was just no buzz and no single whatsoever. I for some reason downloaded it (even though I wasn't feeling his first album) and it seriously shocked me how good this album was. I enjoyed the entire thing, and knew immediately I had to buy it. I couldn't find it in stores which is why their is no receipt, but wow. A very good album indeed.

Music That I Needed To Buy - Before I Self Destruct (50 Cent)

So I copped 50's new album. It was a questionable decision. At first I wasn't going to do it, because Curtis was HORRENDOUS, but after I listened to the leak, it got the best of me. Its actually a really good, aggressive album, and I was very impressed. He put out a very solid product with this one, and its absolutely worth the buy.

*Clap For Him*

Today Jay-Z scored his first #1 hit on the billboard charts with "Empire State of Mind". Absurd that he has had to wait this long, but still...epic. Now clap for him.

Music Mondays...or is it Tuesday now?

Ahhh. Isn't it good to see the new boys up above making moves? Especially since they are easily 3 of the hottest rappers in the game right now? Anyways, i've been busy, but here's your music dosage. On a side note, I want to thank all of you for the views and amazing feedback you have given me on the video I posted of myself rapping a couple days ago on my youtube. It has really been phenomenal and inspired me to work even harder to achieve my dreams. Anyways, enough of that. Go listen to these tracks.

I'ma Eat Dat - D.P. Da Prophet Feat. Young Capone & Jae Hart ***** 5/5 - I had to rate this a 5 and put it at the top of the list. This song is nasty as fuck, but at the same time, it could not be more catchy.
Dreaming - Alicia Keys **(.5) 2.5/5 - I'm not really feeling this one Ms. Alicia. I think it'll sound better CD quality though.
Material Girl - Drake Feat. Colin Munroe ***** 5/5 - New Drake has emerged, and surprise!! Its sick. I like when him and Colin Munroe are on tracks together. Especially since it gives a talent like Colin Munroe more shine. This is from his upcoming mixtape "Heartbreak Drake Part 3" and its a great song.
Scriptures - Drake ***** 5/5 - Another track off an upcoming mixtape. Honestly, Drake is killing the game. Wanna know why? He works hard. Thats why he is so good. This is not a finished track though.
Hurt - Dirty Money Feat. Drake ***** 5/5 - The best track I have heard in quite a while. Diddy really surprised me on this one. Drake KILLED it.
Play Ball - Birdman Feat. Drake **** 4/5 - This same track has been coming out with a million different versions, but Drake is the same on every single one. He kills it. Course Birdman doesnt really add to it, but at least its not terrible. I expect a new one with Wayne and Birdman to emerge soon.
Grindin Making Money - Birdman Feat. Lil Kim & Nicki Minaj **(.25) 2.25/5 - Finally the queen bee and Nicki are on the same track. Too bad Kim SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS on this. WTF is that terrible autotune. She needs to retire. Nicki is the only highlight (as always).
I Go Off - Beanie Sigel Feat. 50 Cent ***(.25) 3.25/5 - There is definitely some anger on this one. The reason for the semi-high rating is mostly because Fif makes this song sound good. I'm sorry but Beanie does absolutely nothing for me on this song. LMAO at Fif coming hard at Jay at the end. Dude is trying to start up beef for no reason. Funny how both Game and Fif are going at him, and he didnt even do shit (while I hold up the Roc from my dorm room).
Video Phone (Extended Remix) - Beyonce Feat. Lady Gaga *** 3/5 - Another collabo between these two. Its definitely different. I like these two together. Just the song doesn't do much for me, mainly due to the annoying/repetitive beat.
Sing Like Me - Chris Brown ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Another solid Chris Brown song. He is really consistent when he's on his album grind...
Center Of Attention - Wale **** 4/5 - Well, we all know by now that this dude is a MAJOR player in the industry, and the future of rap, and he shows it on this song. Keep making songs like this, and I will keep supporting.
5 Star Bitch (Remix) (Dirty) - Yo Gotti Feat. Gucci Mane, Trina, & Nicki MInaj ***(.75) 3.75/5 - I really fuck with this song. Especially cause Nicki MURKS it, but like the rest as well. Good song.
Fly Away - Lloyd **(.25) 2.25/5 - New Lloyd. People sleep on this dude. He is one of the nicest singers in the industry. This isn't my favorite joint from him, but still.
Self Destruction 2010 - DJ Kayslay Feat. Sheek Louch, Bun B, Busta Rhymes, Papoose, Uncle Murda, & Jay Rock ** 2/5 - I was actually really excited to hear this...Too bad its really bad.
My Own Worst Enemy - Gucci Mane *(.5) 1.5/5 - Um okay...No interest in this song at all.
Lemonade - Gucci Mane ** 2/5 - Haha Gucci would make a song like this. This just doesn't work for me. Because of this childish hook, it may catch on, but i am not feeling it. By the way, any update on Gucci's situation? He must be getting star treatment in jail.
Hooked On You - JoJo ***(.5) 3.5/5 - Oh, another song from my future wifey. It isn't as good as her past songs, but you know if its JoJo, I love it.
I'm So Appalled - Kanye West ** 2/5 - A new verse from Yeezy. This is from an upcoming song, but the name is slipping from my mind right now. Its good lyrics, but the actually verse quality/beat is not good.
My Ex - Kevin Cossom Feat. Joe Budden **(.75) 2.75/5 - Usually a fan of Kevin Cossom, but feel like this one could have been a lot stronger. How ironic is it that Joey is getting on a track like this?
Upside Down - Snoop Dogg Feat. Nipsey Hussle & Problem **(.5) 2.5/5 - New track coming from the WESTSIDE. Does nothing for me. Glad Snoop had realized Nipsey's talent though. Snoop needs to stick to songs about ladies though, cause that track with Dream is a hit.
I Go Crazy - Huey Feat. Colby O'Donis **(.75) 2.75/5 - Where's Colby O been at? Glad to see him back, especially since he makes this song bearable. Huey is just horrendous on this though.
Slow Love Devine - Jeremih *** 3/5 - This is a pretty solid track from the homie Jeremih. Very glad to see him continuing his music, and not slowing down after his one hit.
100 Percent - Mariah Carey *** 3/5 - A mixtape Mariah Carey track. Solid song, but definitely glad it didnt make her album.
She Don't Know - Usher ** 2/5 - New Usher. Hopefully this doesnt make the album, cause i'm not much of a fan.
On My Side - D. Woods Feat. Rick Ross **(.25) 2.25/5 - I was rooting for D. Woods, but sadly this track is completely flat. Ricky is the highlight of the track. *Reminiscing on the Danity Kane days*.
Popping - OJ Da Juiceman Feat. R. Kelly **(.5) 2.5/5 - I guess this was released before, but this is the CDQ. I am a big fan of Kelly, but OJ just makes this not so good. This doesn't even seem finished to me.
Give It Up To Me - Shakira Feat. Flo Rida & Timbaland **(.75) 2.75/5 - I never noticed how much better Wayne made this song. Like its still decent, but Flo Rida just doesn't cut it here. Good choice to put in Wayne instead.
Undertow - Timbaland Feat. The Fray & Esthero ***(.5) 3.5/5 - This is a different sound from Timbaland, but I actually really like it. Good move.
Fly Here Now - Leona Lewis **(.75) 2.75/5 - New Leona Lewis track. It kind of fucks up in the beginning. I'm a fan of Leona but this does nothing for me.
You Don't Care - Leona Lewis *** 3/5 - It's alright. Still kind of mediocre for me though.
Pulse - Leona Lewis **(.25) 2.25/5 - Even more Leona. Not my favorite at all.
If I Knew Then - Lyfe Jennings *** 3/5 - Heres the new single from Lyfe Jennings. I am a fan of his, and this is decent, but ill feel like he won't ever have the buzz that he once had around "Must Be Nice".
S.U.P.E.R. - Rock City **(.5) 2.5/5 - New Rock City. Still waiting for the album, cause tracks like this are not holding me over.
Letter To Remy Ma - Jacki-O **(.5) 2.5/5 - I can't really listen to this full thing cause it bores me too much. Like its alright. I've always liked this beat, but its so played out, I can't even stand it.
Curves Of Your Body - JyShoun ***(.75) 3.75/5 - A good track from the homie JyShoun. He did his thing on this one.
Butter Cup - Jackson 5 ***(.5) 3.5/5 - New unreleased music from the Jackson 5, and I actually think its pretty good. Remember when music was sounding like this? Ahhh the good old days.
Zoo - Nicole Scherzinger ** 2/5 - I swore a song by this name was already released by the lead pussycat doll..but i guess not. Anyways, this song is a perfect example of why her solo career never took off.
Hater - 718 *** 3/5 - This is an average track from the group 718. Its okay, but doesn't blow me away.
Sweet Dreams (Live In Las Vegas) - Beyonce ***** 5/5 - It's live, but WOW. SHE KILLS IT.

Beyoncé (Feat. Lady GaGa) - Video Phone [Extended Remix]

Well....that was interesting. Um. Don't like the song. Weird ass video. Lady Gaga finally looks normal, and Beyonce looks hotter than ever. The end.

Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart

You know Alicia is coming hard at this comeback, and killing it as ALWAYS. Another great video from her.
