Better Late Than Never

Ah...Me & Jay both. Feeling like the presidents of this shit. Only difference is he's in the white house and i'm lounging out on vaca in Montreal for a week. Okay people, this is the situation. Way to much hate has been coming in lately. Like O-shittt (no pun intended), chill. Haha I got this. Yes, I know I was busy wrapping up school before spring break, but I told ya'll i'd get you all the songs. Next time, you should just believe me and wait. Cause damn sure I went to work to get ya'll these songs. Now as Drake would say, OVER.

Over - Drake ***** 5/5 - The most talked about track in ages. Let me explain something to ya'll. I know I love listening to Drake & Wayne, but when I first heard this song, I thought it was the crappiest let down of all time. BUT I didn't give up. I kept listening. I heard it in the clubs in Montreal. I gave it a chance. Now, I see it as the biggest song of 2010 PERIOD.
I'm Back - T.I. **** 4/5 - T.I. is back with this new street single. What do ya'll think? I think its a pretty serious track. Definitely aimed at the streets though. Expect to hear this bumping from a ghetto whip near you. (Album coming August 24th BTW).
Billionaire - Travis McCoy Feat. Bruno Mars **** 4/5 - Looks like Bruno Mars is the new "go-to" guy. I'm not mad at it. He sounds like the new Colin Munroe. This doesn't sound like CDQ but you can still tell the song is gonna be hot. Glad to see that Travis is really gonna put out an album cause he puts out hot shit.
Drip - Yung Joc Feat. Lil Wayne *** 3/5 - Another dude that I believe should just give up. Lucky for him, he was able to get Wayne to assist him on this one. I love when Wayne says lines that show that he actually pays attention: "I'm all about my Paper like Usher".
Each Tear (Remix) - Mary. J Blige Feat. Jay Sean ***(.75) 3.75/5 - She shoulda put this version on the album.
Loyalty - Birdman Feat. Lil Wayne & Tyga *** 3/5 - A leftover from Priceless. Should have put it on. It would have matched the rest of the mediocre album.
Eenie Meenie - Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber **** 4/5 - New song from these two. I posted the footage of them recording this a couple of weeks back. I think the "Eenie Meenie" thing is REALLY corny, but its still a good song though. Tell me why Justin kills the track way more than Sean though. Also as my friend would say, "Why does Sean Kingston look younger than Justin Bieber?"
Get Over It - Drake ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Drake going in on this reference track.
Noize - Marques Houston ***(.5) 3.5/5 - Well...this will be on my sex playlist.
Trina, Kim, Or Nicki - Maino **** 4/5 - I like this remix right here. Creative.
Before I Die - Young Chris Feat. Lil Wayne ***(.25) 3.25/5 - Don't get too excited, just a Wayne sample. Still a good song though.
I Do My Thing - Kid Cudi Feat. Snoop Dogg *** 3/5 - This was supposed to be on Cudi's last album, but they waited to put it on his new one. It's better then their other collabo...but its still some emo ish from Cudi and some pretty weak rhymes from Uncle Snoop.
Jump Off - Game Feat. Ja Rule **(.25) 2.25/5 - Two of 50's victims link up once again to put out a song that will never reach an album. Clap for em.
Grab Your Ass - Rick Ross ***(.5) 3.5/5 - A mixtape song from Ross. Surprisingly, he continuously puts out pretty good stuff. He's lucky he makes good beat selections.
Lay You Down - Usher **** 4/5 - This is a pretty good new Usher track right here. He has not been disappointing me lately.
OK - Usher *** 3/5 - Does anyone else hear the Lil Jon in the background? or is that in my head?
Ribbon (Remix) - Mariah Carey Feat. The-Dream & Ludacris ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Another track off of Mariah's new remix album. I'm not mad at it.
They Don't Love Me - Diddy Feat. The-Dream 0/5 - This has to be the worst vocal performance of all time. What were you two thinking?!?!
Party Animal - Akon ***(.25) 3.25/5 - So this is the Akon we should get used to? It seems like everything he does now has David Guetta producing it. It's not bad. It'll probably hit the clubs hard. But what happened to the "Lonely" Akon we all knew and loved?
The Machine - Trey Songz ** 2/5 - Not Trey's finest remix. Maybe its cause I hate the beat.
Lemonade (Remix) - Trey Songz *** 3/5 - Haha the "Instrumental Killa" goes in over Gucci's beat. I do fuck with the chorus of this song.
Lil Freak (Remix) - Trey Songz *** 3/5 - LMAO @ the verse about Nicki.
New York, Jersey, Philly - Joe Budden Feat. Royce Da 5'9" *** 3/5 - Ah yes. Another "Beamer, Benz, & Bentley" remix. At least its by good rappers this time. Royce sounds a little strange though. Love that line though Joe: "Your mind playing tricks on you, get off Shutter Island".
I Wanna Rock (Remix) - Snoop Dogg Feat. Lil Kim & Lady of Rage **(.25) 2.25/5 - Personally, I think that Snoop is taking this song WAY too far. It's really not that nice. And neither is this remix. LMAO @ Kim still being mad about that biggie movie.
Down This Road - Consequence Feat. Maino **(.5) 2.5/5 - I guess this okay? At least it's an interesting collabo. The actual song just doesn't do much for me.
Fly Shit - Young Cash Feat. T-Pain *** 3/5 - Young Cash samples Drizzy for this track and also brings along his boss. Not bad, just a mixtape track. SMH at T-Pains line though: "You can tell I hang around more bloods than a maxi pad"
Nissan, Honda, Chevy - Joell Ortiz Feat. Jim Jones ***(.5) 3.5/5 - Joell brings us the ghetto version of "Beamer, Benz, & Bentley". Very interesting collabo though.
She Got It Made - Plies **(.5) 2.5/5 - A pretty mediocre song from Plies. Nothing that shocks me at all. I hope for more on the album.
Just The Beginning - Diggy ***(.25) 3.25/5 - Diggy raps over Drake's "Over" beat and continues to show why he is the best rapper in his family.
Over (Freestyle) - Royce Da 5'9" ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Royce killing Drake's new track as well. No Drake diss on this one.
Ga Ga Ga - Maino **(.25) 2.25/5 - Maino has been putting out some very very AVERAGE joints lately. No "All of The Above" here.
Rude Boy (Rihanna Cover) - Jaicko ***** 5/5 - A diamond in the rough. Jaicko puts his own spin on Rihanna's hit. We'll give him a pass on the rapping part
Criminology 2.5 - Method Man, Ghostface Killah, & Raekwon *** 3/5 - Some new music from part of the Wu. Just hardcore rap.
Goin At It - Keith Sweat **(.5) 2.5/5 - Keith Sweat is making a comeback? SMH. It's not like that Diddy joint, but still not to impressive.
Industry - R. Kelly **(.5) 2.5/5 - An average song.
Big Money - Ace Hood Feat. Dirty **(.5) 2.5/5 - "Fuck her till she numb all over, coma"...Ace? more like a joker.
Lose My Mind - Young Jeezy Feat. Plies ***(.5) 3.5/5 - The new street single from Jeezy. TM103 is going to be serious, no doubt. Even though this song doesn't blow me away, Jeezy is so consistent that the majority of shit he puts out is hot. Plies makes an appearance as well.
Way Out - Big Sean Feat. Mr. Hudson ***** 5/5 - This wasn't the finished version of this song, so Big Sean was not happy about it being released, but lets be real, this song is HOT. If this is what I should expect from Big Sean's album, I will be in line ready to purchase.
That Tree - Snoop Dogg Feat. Kid Cudi *** 3/5 - This is the other collaboration between these two. I'm telling you, sometimes I just lose faith in Snoop. Cudi is still nice though. Oh just in case you didn't realize, they are talking about weed.
Lay U Down - Sean Garrett Feat. Plies ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Sean Garrett's got a hit with this one.
Wait A Minute (For Your Love) - JoJo * 1/5 - I love JoJo. Ya'll know how much I love this girl. But this joint just doesnt do it for me. On another note, twitter her @jojoistheway and tell her to give me a chance!
Stilettos & T-Shirt - Bobby Valentino Feat. Nicki Minaj ***(.5) 3.5/5 - Look whose trying to make a comeback. Should have done a more original song though. Its a good look getting Nicki on the track though.
Love King - The-Dream **** 4/5 - The new single from The-Dream, and yes, once again the "Radio Killer" is going to kill the radio.
Eat You Alive - Lil Wayne Feat. Ludacris ** 2/5 - Very glad this didn't make C3. This shit is just weird.
Drop It Low (Part. 2) - Ester Dean Feat. Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, & Chris Brown ***** 5/5 - This song is serious and has Trey, Wayne, & C Breezy on the remix? I cosign this one.
Baby (Remix) - Justin Bieber Feat Romeo ** 2/5 - This was a good song...then Romeo attempted to make a comeback.
Never Let You Go - Justin Bieber **** 4/5 - The 2nd single from Justin Bieber off his new album. It's funny how a 15 year old kid is killing the game right now, while the grown ass r&b dudes can't create any stir. If you say its only cause he's young, listen to his music.
Still My Nigga - Killer Mike Feat. Ludacris & Game *** 3/5 - Killer Mike? Haven't heard from him in a while. Interesting little combination on this track though. Game comes weakest on this though.
Start All Over - Good Charlotte Feat. Ludacris **** 4/5 - I love rock/rap collaborations a lot of the time, and this is one of them. This is a pretty good all around track, and Luda does his thing.
The First Time - Ludacris Feat. Bobby Valentino ***(.5) 3.5/5 - A song not off "Battle of The Sexes". DO ya'll remember the first time?
Mind Freak - Ludacris Feat. Chris Angel **(.75) 2.75/5 - An out take off of "Theater of The Mind". Glad he left it off....This is not my favorite. Chris Angel has no reason being on a rap song.
Know Why - Kid Cudi *** 3/5 - A chill little Cudi joint right here.
I'm On It - Tyga Feat. Lil Wayne **** 4/5 - "Breaktime" Part 2 anyone?
Blood Niggaz - Menace Feat. Lil Wayne & Mitchy Slick * 1/5 - Usually Wayne can salvage a song. I think no one could have saved this one though.
WTF - Shawty Lo Feat. Lil Wayne *(.5) 1.5/5 - How I feel about this song? WTF (excluding Wayne's part).
Swag Sex - Marques Houston Feat. Soulja Boy ***(.5) 3.5/5 - Replace Soulja with anyone else and this song could have been pretty hot.
Kickin' & Screamin' - Marques Houston ** 2/5 - I'm a big Marques Houston fan, but this doesn't sound right to me. Kind of wack.
Say Something - Chris Brown ***(.5) 3.5/5 - They should have put this on his mixtape. This is better than almost all of the joints they actually did put on it.
Go Away - Chris Brown **(.5) 2.5/5 - An okay song from C Breezy. Not my type of song, but maybe some of you will enjoy it.
Nothin On You - Bow Wow **** 4/5 - I love this beat. It would have been hard for anyone to fuck this up for me.
Hear My Cry - Ludacris Feat. Jennifer Hudson ***(.5) 3.5/5 - This is clearly a demo and not the unfinished version, but it still goes hard. Love to see these two working together.
All Black Everything - Soulja Boy ** 2/5 - The sad thing about this song is that it will actually probably be a hit. SMH. Way to hop on Jay's dick Soulja.
Hot Like The Summer - Sean Kingston * 1/5 - This is not the Sean Kingston I want to hear at all.
Freak - Estelle Feat. Kardinal Offishall *** 3/5 - Interesting choice from Estelle for a first single. Definitely not "American Boy" but at least it's different? Someone should have told her Kardinal Offishall is by no standards still relevant though.
Beauty In The World - Macy Gray * 1/5 - New Macy Gray. Not my kind of music, but I had to respect a legend.
Sexuality - Rihanna ** 2/5 - Here's an unreleased cut from Rihanna. Nothing special. But I definitely will show her "just what I can do".
Rude Boy (Remix) - Rihanna Feat. Cassidy & Jag ** 2/5 - I'm sorry, I just don't think Cassidy or Jag had any right to touch this song.
Gucci, Louie, Fendi - Cassidy Feat. Jag ** 2/5 - ANOTHER remix of "Beamer, Benz, & Bentley". Hey Cassidy? How about you go grab Swizz and make a solo album. Okay? Thanks.
Everybody Knows - Young Cash Feat. T-Pain & Iceberg * 1/5 - I still don't get what Young Cash does? I think he should just watch Pain, and hope he throws some money his way. What is up with this chorus by the way?
Eastsidin' (Crip Gang) - Glasses Malone Feat. Snoop Dogg *(.5) 1.5/5 - Yawn. Not what I want to hear even remotely. I still fuck with Glasses though.
Bring The Goons Out (Remix) - Grafh Feat. Jim Jones, Red Cafe, Bun B, Maino, & Cassidy *** 3/5 - Just a bunch of goons.
Tired of You - Gucci Mane 0/5 - This just isn't even worth a comment.
Text - Mann Feat. Jason Derulo ****(.5) 4.5/5 - The highlight of this song is easily the chorus, but this track actually surprised me. It's not bad at all. I definitely fuck with this song.
Angels (Dancehall Remix) - Dirty Money Feat. Serani & B.I.G * 1/5 - This was a pretty terrible attempt at a remix Serani. The songs bad to begin with. Did you have to make it that much worse? The new beat sucks as well.
Tonight - R. Kelly *** 3/5 - A pretty solid new Joint from Kels. Clearly there is a lot going on tonight.
Money & The Power - Birdman Feat. Gucci Mane & Bun B **(.5) 2.5/5 - A song about money coming from birdman?!?! no way!! haha Its not terrible. Its exactly what you would expect though.
Queen of Hearts - Jason Derulo ***(.5) 3.5/5 - A bonus track off his new album. It's solid, but could have been on the album.
Magnetic - B5 Feat. Akon * 1/5 - I thought B5 was gone....Oh well, maybe I was just hoping they were. They should have stayed gone.
Heartbeat - Leona Lewis ***(.25) 3.25/5 - Classic Leona Lewis song right here.
Lick Lick Lick - Pleasure P **** 4/5 - I feel Pleasure P on this one.
HeartBeatLove - Janet Jackson Feat. Pitbull, Machel Montano, & Rock City ** 2/5 - I heard Janet was back in the studio, but I hope we have something more to look forward to than this.
Here We Go (Remix) - Drake Feat. Twista *** 3/5 - Why Twist chose to remix this old song makes no sense to me? But Drake still killed this shit.
Trunk Band - B.o.B Feat. T-Pain ***(.75) 3.75/5 - Waiting for that new B.o.B album. Cause this shit is hot.
Down For Y'all - B.o.B *** 3/5 - Some good music from the homie B.o.B.
Poppin' Bottles - Rick Ross Feat. OJ Da Juiceman & 8 Ball * 1/5 - I wonder if people ACTUALLY like OJ. XXL Freshman? SMH.
Pray For Me - Rick Ross Feat. Birdman *(.5) 1.5/5 - Haha, isn't their album coming out soon? Maybe they should push it back again...
Nappy Boys - Shawnna Feat. T-Pain ** 2/5 - Shawnna showing what she brings to the Nappy Boy crew, while Pain continues to shout and fuck up this track.
Sold Out Show - Lil Chuckee *(.5) 1.5/5 - Haha, the youngest member of YM tries his hand at another solo joint. Lets just say, he's still got some work to do.
Strong Will Continue - Nas & Damian Marley ****(.5) 4.5/5 - This shit is serious. This is what I better hear on this new album of theirs.
Call On Me - Bow Wow * 1/5 - This sounds like a hot mess Bow.
Poppin' - Young Joc Feat. Bobby Valentino & Carlito * 1/5 - Young Joc making a comeback?? Thats like Elvis coming back from the dead and singing a hook for him.
Trap Or Die 2 (Reloaded) - Young Jeezy ** 2/5 - Nothing special from Jeezy here.
Tightrope - Janelle Monae Feat. Big Boi ***(.25) 3.25/5 - Haha this is exactly the kinda song you would expect Big Boi to be on. Video coming soon.
Knock On Wood (Freestyle) - J. Cole *** 3/5 - J. Cole going in over Common's "Go". Usually, i'd turn this off. Luckily for J, he can actually spit.
Absolute Heat (Freesyle) - Trey Songz * 1/5 - No no no Trey. Should have stuck to singing on this one.
The Realest - Maino *** 3/5 - It's usually hit or miss for Maino, but this is somewhere in the middle. "I'm a man baby, skinny jeans dont fit me".
She Was Her - Mario ** 2/5 - Yawn, literally.
We Will Survive - Game * 1/5 - Game has been putting out some really bad music lately. See "Shake".
Proceed - Lupe Fiasco ** 2/5 - Some unreleased Lupe. Let's just say, I'm hoping for better results out of the new Lupe.
What U Want - Lupe Fiasco ** 2/5 - See above. What ever happened to Japanese Cartoon by the way (Don't say he wasnt the lead singer)?
Cabin Fever - Wiz Khalifa * 1/5 - I'll give Wiz a pass on this one. Usually he is a lot better. The beat does NOT help him.
Bang Bang - T-Streets Feat. Gudda Gudda * 1/5 - The two worst rappers out of Young Money collab. Bang Bang. Eardrums dead.
Left Hand Girl - T-Pain Feat. Travis McCoy & Detail **(.5) 2.5/5 - This songs okay. At least it has Travis on it.
Wit My Money - T-Pain **(.25) 2.25/5 - Nothing special at all.
Make Them Flip - K-Young *(.5) 1.5/5 - K-Young is talented, but this shit is a bore.
Cheese N Crackers (Remix) - Ron Brownz Feat. Cassidy & J.R. Writer 0/5 - I hate this title. I don't know why. I just hate it. Oh, the song SUCKS too.
Tipsy (Remix) - DJ Webstar Feat. Serani & Jadakiss **(.5) 2.5/5 - Classic DJ Webstar song, but I definitely could hear this in the club, so i'm not to mad at it.
Say I Won't Go - Jay Rock Feat. Tyrese * 1/5 - XXL Freshman? SMH.
The People - Common *** 3/5 - I mean, of course this is a good song, just kind of old. Its the version with Common on the chorus.
Pretty Body - J. Holiday ** 2/5 - I like J. Holiday, but this is not the kind of song that will help him make a comeback.
Walking Alone - Jay Sean *** 3/5 - A smooth Jay Sean song for your ears.
Make It Go (Pt. 2) - Belly Feat. Drake & Ron Brownz *(.5) 1.5/5 - The original was 103488x better than this bullshit.
How To Be An Emcee 2010 - KRS-One, Redman, & Mims * 1/5 - It's funny how none of these rappers know how to be real MC's in 2010.
Smith & Wesson - Yung Berg & K-Young *** 3/5 - I kind of like this song right here. Sometimes these two linking up just works.
Planets Align - Yung Berg Feat. K-Young ***(.25) 3.25/5 - I fuck with this one too.
Sexual Healing - K-Young & Yung Berg ** 2/5 - I thought this song was going somewhere...then realized that was just me hoping.
Old School - Yung Berg Feat. Rockstar ** 2/5 - Some bad singing by Berg on this joint. Song still kinda bumps though.
Wake Up Call - 88-Keys Feat. Colin Munroe **** 4/5 - I'm a fan of 88-Keys & DEFINITELY Colin Munroe. The effect on 88's voice wasn't necessary but this shit still bangs.
I Can't Get Enough - Bobby Valentino ** 2/5 - Nothing special from Bobby V. He needs to come harder than this.
What I Think About Luv (I Do, I Do) - Ryan Leslie ***(.5) 3.5/5 - This dude is so underrated. Good music right here.
Here She Comes Again - Ryan Leslie ***(.5) 3.5/5 - See above.
Lets Go - Niko Villamor Feat. Lloyd ** 2/5 - Another version of this was definitely released. Lloyd does his thing on the hook, but who the hell is Niko Villamor?
Torn Down - Elliott Yamin **** 4/5 - Probably one of the most consistent r&b singers out there. He just puts out good music.
I'm Sorry - Maino **** 4/5 - A good song from Maino. Finally. This is the kind of shit I actually like from this dude.
Show Me What You Working With - E-40 Feat. Too $hort 0/5 - One of the worst rappers of all time.
Main Event - Chamillionare Feat. Paul Wall, Slim Thug, & Dorrough ** 2/5 - All of the southern rappers who are an hour past there 15 minutes of fame reunite for this track.
King Of The Pyrex - Tony Yayo Feat. Soulja Boy * 1/5 - Probably two of the worst rappers choose to collab on this one.
Keep Movin - K. Sparks & G.C. Feat. Sean Price & Julius Francis *** 3/5 - The rapping parts are nice, I just don't love the chorus.
Need A Fan - Mike Jones ** 2/5 - Mike really doesn't make songs that are that bad. But this sucks just based on the fact that he put out his number AGAIN.
Big Dawg (Remix) - Playaz Circle Feat. Lil Wayne & Birdman *** 3/5 - A good song because of the hook. Adding a verse from Birdman? Wack.
Like A Kid Again - Shawn Chrystopher **(.25) 2.25/5 - Alright.
Juelz Interlude -J. Cardim Feat. Juelz Santana ** 2/5 - What ever happened to that "Home run" video?
My Bloody Valentine - Christina Milian Feat. The-Dream **(.5) 2.5/5 - This has an interesting vibe to it, but I still think Christina should just deal with the fact that her career is over, and let her hubby provide from now on.
Stripper Song - OJ Da Juiceman 0/5 - This song had potential...Then OJ started rapping.

Sidenote: WTF is my boy Birdman doing? He must have lost his mind now that he lost Weezy to the penitentiary.

Things That I Needed To Buy - Various Magazines

I try my best to support the hip-hop culture. I like to stay educated on my magazine game as well.
