Papa Rach

Born into a French-Native-American and African-American family, Roderic Moses grew up in a middle-class home where he and his two other siblings were raised by their mother. Shreveport, Louisiana was home to Roderic (a.k.a Papa Rach) for over twenty years before he decided to venture off to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and ultimately plant roots in Houston, Texas. His stage name, Papa Rach, was handed down from his grandfather and is short for Rachal (pronounced Rash-al or Papa Rash). Music had always been at the core of Papa Rach, which was realized at an early age. Writing lyrics and arranging samples to create songs kept the passion strong, but when he was ten years old he acquired a music sequencer which ultimately sparked the fire that had been waiting to burn. Realizing that a career in entertainment would be a long fought road, Papa enrolled at Southern University earning an Associate’s degree in Science. Shortly after earning his Associate’s degree, he enrolled at University of Arkansas earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Although he pursued a career along a different path, writing, producing, and arranging his own music remained constant. With the financial freedom to depend on himself for out-of-pocket expenses, Papa purchased the necessary equipment to make his long-time dream a reality. With several underground albums, increasingly popular in his hometown of Shreveport, Papa’s notoriety has begun to blossom exponentially. Albums including “Fresh Off da Block vol. 1, 2, and 3” and several mixtapes, most noticeably “The Takeover ”and “Money Over Everythang vol. 1, 2, and 3”, has now put this Louisiana native on the map in Houston, Texas. Known for his catchy hooks and his ability to capture one’s attention with his lyrical concoctions, this fresh new face in entertainment is poised to rattle the world of Hip-Hop.

Nycole Valentina

Born September 16, 1988, it wasnt long before a girl, by the name of Mari-Nycole Valentina, became musically inspired. At a young age, Nycole observed and became captivated by every aspect of the entertainment field. Nycole learned early in life that judgment comes with the territory of not being ordinary. Being of mixed race, having high views, a strong sense of style, as well as dreaming to play a higher card then she was dealt, Nycole became an easy target. Being a person who doesnt show her weakness, Nycole also learned how to become a actress within her life. With a family life more unstable than the life outside of her home, music became her escape. Her way to release her thoughts and feelings without having to directly confront them.
While singing in school choruses, performing in talent shows around Pensacola, FL (where she lived at the time) along with modeling and dancing, her aspirations grew each and every day. Nycole had a passion to entertain, in every way she could. If there was stage, she was on it. If there was a camera, she was in front of it. Nycole says, "Its as if I become a completely different person as soon as I step on stage. I begin playing a role. The shyness that you see when you first meet me, somewhat disappears. I become an actress putting on a show for you." By age 11, Nycole had began writing and recording her own material, most of which was recorded in Roy Jones Jr.s studio, Body Head Entertainment. Continuing to perform every chance she could, Nycole began meeting people that would soon introduce her to Shannon Sanders and Drew Ramsey, two Grammy-winning producers (India Arie, Heather Headley). After recording a song with Haystak and Baby Bash, she began working with Shannon and Drew on a regular basis. As time went on, she also worked with people such as Warren McRae (Tina Turners bass player) as well as Coolie C. (Pretty Ricky, Trey Songz)
Nycole prides herself on being a complete entertainer/artist, rather than just a singer. She's driven to become someone that makes good music that will be loved for years and years to come, rather than just making good songs that will be easily forgotten.

Medina

MEDINA also known as "The Six Million Dollar Man," is universally recognized as one of the premiere MC's in all of hip-hop. Recognized for his many contributions to several of today's platinum selling artists, Medina has come to realize that his presence is exactly what the music industry is in need of. The multi-talented, well rounded and well versed individual that encompasses the ability to crossover all genres of hip hop/urban culture is now bringing himself to the forefront of the hip-hop world. More than a rapper, model, actor and writer, Medina is a true chameleon of this life and hip-hop is at its roots. He earned this reputation by crafting his rhymes like poetry, filling his lines with elaborate metaphors and complex internal rhyme stories. MEDINA proves emphatically that he has the ability to take clever words and translate them into powerful songs.
MEDINA'S pain filled past and obvious struggles to gain attention and recognition fuel his mental process. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, this self proclaimed "Antwone Fisher" has overcome amazing obstacles in his life and undergone circumstances that we too often hear about or see on television. In his earlier years, Medina and his siblings visited their mother in mental institutions, and at the age of ten, she kidnapped him and his brother and made attempts to sell his sibling. Medina later lost his mother and his father was forced to raise three boys on his own while struggling to make ends meet. With no real direction, Medina was subjected to a life of drugs and violence. Miraculously, he survived despite a brush with death that killed his best friend.
Later becoming homeless, sleeping on the streets, and in and out of job corps, Medina moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was accepted into Morris Brown College. In an attempt to rise above his uncompromising obstacles he used boxing as an outlet which lead him to writing. Medina's rags to riches story touches many and inspires all. When asked about his triumphant rise to the top he simply says, "Sometimes you don't have to win to WIN!"
