To add to the mayhem, the group’s live stage performance is that of a rock show. 5th Flow gets the crowd involved in the show with their high energy and impressive showmanship!! If you’re not moving after you hear the first verse of their single "Quarter To A Half" you’re either on drugs or deaf. Imagine Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Twista, T.I., and Ludacris united on one mixtape, for one cause, or even under one umbrella. Well, there is no longer a need to imagine because Rahlo, JClay, and Supreme deliver a lyrical flurry of that ’Dirty South/Midwest’ heat directly to yo mama’s front porch. The sound is remarkable! You can hear the 5th Flow/Pink Slip swagger and personality piercing through the speakers.5th Flow covers all bases from street anthems, like the debut single Quarter to A Half, to Party’s in the Hamptons with the "Rich White Kid" single. 5th Flow delivers rhymes filled with passion, lyrical content, and subject matter on a consistent basis...unlike several of their MC counterparts that tend to have diarrhea (runoff) at the mouth. This is Hood Music at it’s finest.The group was formed at Prairie View A&M University where JClay and Rahlo launched Pink Slip Records and Supreme at the time, ran his own underground label Supreme Records. After several mixtape encounters followed by an "ON CAMPUS BUZZ" the three joined to feature on the PVAMU acclaimed mixtape "Name Dem Shows" followed by the release of Rahlo’s debut album "The Sources".Shortly after the mixtape/album release the group experienced an overwhelming amount of notoriety for the single "Takin Over". With their new found notoriety came CASH-IN-HAND and a demand for another mixtape release. So the group carefully crafted PINK SLIP RADIO VOL. 2: 5TH FLOW EDITION which is 21 tracks of the Kitchen Oven...HEAT. To add fuel to the fire they dropped the video "Takin Over" in April 2007 which has accumulated 50,000 plus plays on the Web.At present, with the 2007 release of the debut single Quarter To A Half comes the anticipation of the
QUATER TO A HALF MIXTAPE due out spring 2008.

Grafh

Grafh, born Phillip Bernard, is from the Southeast Queens section of New York. A mixtape veteran, Grafh has propelled his way into the major league on pure skill, dedication, and strategic independent positioning. Grafh..s short stint at St. John..s University qualified him to become president of the indie label, Black Hand Entertainment while still remaining its flagship artist. Relentless, and prolific is the best way to describe his mission, and music, which has been featured on HBO..s Entourage, Fox..s Meth and Red Show, BET..s Ultimate Hustler. His music also appears on a number of video games, including EA Sports.. NFL Streets, 25 to Life, and most recently Saint..s Row. Grafh has just begun to impact. He is the brainchild of the Myspace Jumpoff record which is soaring over the internet. The record has received organic adds on the play list at stations like New York..s Hot 97, Washington DC..s WKYS, and San Francisco..s KMEL, with additional support coming in from the college and commercial non-reporting radio level. MTV was one of the first to feature Grafh and his Myspace Jumpoff record on Direct Effect. The record has received over 140,000 hits on his page alone. It is a featured video on Myspace.com, and is still gaining momentum. The growing success of the Myspace Jumpoff record is the true prelude to the long anticipated AutoGrafh album. Due to the high consumer demand for a Grafh product, it is scheduled as an indie release in January, 2007. Grafh has already began to work on recording his sophomore album, and is staying busy hosting the Black Hand Radio Uncut show on XM Satellite radio, doing a national prison tour, as well as performing at traditional venues across the country. Foxy Brown. Just the name has enough power to stir up conversation. And through all the talk, the 22-year old female has maintained her cool, sitting back quietly waiting for the right moment to release. And now it’s time, Foxy Brown breaks her silence. Foxy Brown’s third LP, aptly titled Broken Silence, finds the controversial rapper confessing her soul. Though her debut Ill Na Na and her sophomore album Chyna Doll were both critically acclaimed, selling close to 4 million copies combined, it’s Broken Silence that will define Foxy Brown, as a person as well as an artist. On the thematic sounding "Falling," Foxy explains how her rise to the top almost ended in her downfall. But that’s just the beginning, because on the heartfelt "The Letter," a dedication to her mother and brothers, Foxy’s lyrics come to life, and her truth reveals itself. "Dear Mommy, I apologize/ I know it’s cause of me that your life is traumatized/…You were there when this fame almost got me killed/ When I was in the hospital and could not be still/ Only you knew the reason that I popped these pills…," admits Foxy. She explains, "The letter was an actual letter I’d written when I was at the lowest point. It took a long time to finish that record, because I was literally in tears, it was so real." During her two-year hiatus, Foxy Brown managed to avoid the limelight. But even though she was taking time off from her career, her name remained at the tip of everyone’s tongue. She explains on the chorus to "Seven Thirty"(a blazing track produced by newcomer Loafey). She spits, "They say I’m seven thirty/ Say I spazz out/ F B is ill/ She’ll wild out/ Can y’all feel my pain/ I can’t let it slide/ How could I smile when I’m hurting so bad inside?" Though Foxy Brown has suffered some trying times in the past couple of years, she hasn’t completely lost her spirit. Fox Boogie returns on tracks like the Neptunes-produced "Candy" and the gritty "BK Anthem," where she delivers hardcore rhymes in that original Ill Na Na fashion, proving that she’s never lost her touch. Broken Silence features only a few guest appearances, focusing solely on Foxy Brown. Mystikal drops his hostile vocals on "Bout My Paper" and Capone-N-Noreaga get down and dirty on "Run Your Shit." But it’s Foxy’s uncensored rhymes and Jamaican-influenced delivery that steals the show. On "Run Dem" and "Tables Will Turn," both featuring Baby Cham, Foxy brings the heat, with songs sure to cause a ruckus in the club. It’s that trend-setting rhyme style that will be Foxy’s new signature. "My father is Trinidadian and my mother is of Trinidadian descent so I grew up on Caribbean culture," Foxy affirms. The authenticity of songs like "Nana Be Like," "Oh Yeah," and "Saddest Day" will be a sharp contrast tohip-hop’s recent influx of not-so-real reggae-inspired music. As far as production goes, Foxy opted for quality. Instead of going after the obvious hitmakers (with the exception of the Neptunes on 2 tracks), Foxy Brown went deep into the lab, bringing people like Dave Kelly and Ski back out into the forefront. As a result, the music is Foxy specific, and wouldn’t fit any other artist. The somber tone of "Hood Silence" is a perfect example of Broken Silence’s distinguishable sound, with its Arabian-sounding background and mid-tempo beat. Without the help of rhyme partner Jay-Z or The Firm, Foxy Brown is determined to stand on her own two feet with this album. "I had no choice but to fend for myself this time, but I’ve always been doing that. No one has made Foxy. I made me, from the first bar I ever spit," she stresses. Now a developed songwriter, Broken Silence proves to be Foxy’s best writing to date. With each verse, Foxy delivers the truth, letting listeners into her world. Broken Silence is a testament, and it’s about time Foxy Brown’s message is heard.

An American Hustler

You may not realize it, but America is a country built on hustling. Christopher Columbus helped hustle Native Americans out of their land. Malcom X started off a young hustler before changing American history. Even Abe Lincoln is quoted as saying, "Good things come to those who wait, but (those are) only the things left over by those who hustle." One person who definitely hasn’t waited for the “good things” to occur is West Coast rapper and entrepreneur METRO.

Since 1997, METRO has been involved in music projects that have sold over 300,000 units nationwide. His own solo mixtapes and albums have amassed 86,000 units to date. So, what do you do after moving almost 90,000 units independently? Any real American hustler knows; you flip that weight.

Taking the earnings from his music career, METRO became a true entrepreneur and invested his money into California and Texas real estate. He couldn’t have chosen a more perfect time; the real estate boom more than quadrupled his investments and placed METRO at the helm of his own destiny, a destiny that would soon take him back to his musical roots.

In 2007 with the real estate boom starting to recede, METRO felt it was time to switch hustles and attack his music career again with full force. He began working on his present album “Prophet or Playboy Vol.I: The Rebirth” and enlisted features from such notable artists such as Bobby Valentino, Young Buck, E-40, and Jimmie Reign with production by Sha Money XL, Tha Bizness, and Key Kat among others.

The lead single “Lavish” featuring DTP crooner Bobby Valentino has received rave reviews from numerous DJ’s and websites and will only gain more notoriety when the star-studded Dr. Teeth (Fat Joe, TI) directed video is released. The album, scheduled to hit stores in May of this year, will be released on METRO’s label Swaggaville Entertainment and is highly anticipated as becoming one of the best projects to originate on the West Coast in years. The personal album deals with the eternal contradiction of “The Soul and The Flesh”. When asked why he entitled his album “Prophet or Playboy” METRO responds “Prophet or Playboy is the definition of my life. I'm in touch with my soul and have a strong relationship with God, but I love fleshly things as well. My rhymes are sometimes deep though like a Prophet, but at the same time I am flashy, something like a playboy. This explains the true nature of my complete self.”

Not just your average, run-of-the-mill independent rapper, METRO is a real hustler. From music to real estate to clothing (he co-owns Ashai Clothing) METRO is set to follow in the footsteps of moguls such as Jay Z, P Diddy and Russell Simmons. These days everyone wants to be a star. What separates METRO from the masses is the means, ends, business sense, and hustle to do it right.

“I have issues” JIMMIE REIGN states, “just like the rest of the world has issues. My catharsis is translating all the negative and positive energy from my life into music that people love and can feel.”
Just looking at the beautiful songstress, you would think she’s had it made. She’s gorgeous and talented. But dig deep below the beautiful exterior and you will find that JIMMIE REIGN is not just a pretty face.
“The First Lady of the Bay” grew up all over the San Francisco Bay Area in a loving two parent home with her three sisters. The girls father, a church preacher, taught them all how to sing and harmonize with one another. JIMMIE, the oldest sibling, was “Daddy’s Little Girl” so her world was shattered when her parents divorced. The three young girls were shuttled in between both parents for years as other familial issues ran rampant.
“Things in my life changed so drastically,” divulges the siren, “I was forced to grow up quickly because of new responsibilities. Consequently, I didn’t really have a childhood and a lot of my songs reflect things that have happened during that time.”
JIMMIE found solace in music. Since the age of 14 she has worked with producer Brian Morgan (SWV), songwriter and recording artist J.Valentine (J Records), producer Paul Anthony of Full Force (Backstreet Boys), and Capitol Records recording artist Clyde Carson . Currently her singles “Make You Wait”, “Tryin’ To Be Your Girl” and “Superstar” are receiving radio airplay on 106 KMEL, WILD 94.9, KBMB, KSFM, KVEG and the Sirius Radio Network. She has shared the stage with Keyshia Cole, Jagged Edge, Latoya London, & Chico Debarge. Her face and name are now forever polarized in the pages of Right ON!, Stash, D101 (UK) Hood Magazine & the East Bay Express, while her cameo in J.Valentine’s video “She Worth The Trouble” marked her major television debut.
JIMMIE’s career success and life experiences left her life in a constant struggle between a grown woman with responsibilities and the eternal “Daddy’s Little Girl.” This chronic imbalance has shaped her music into something that appeals to the masses. Songs from her mixtape “Go Girl,” sponsored by 106 KMEL, Singersroom.com and Right ON! Magazine, reflect melodies and music that adults can feel while infusing lyrics and themes that young people identify with.
